Crochet 101: The Basics

Crochet 101 introduces the foundational techniques used for crochet root maintenance and loc repair.

This class focuses on how to properly use a crochet needle at the root, clean up and incorporate loose hair, reinforce weak areas, and complete common repairs without compromising the structure of the loc.

Students will also learn how to assess repair work before starting the service. Not every repair requires the same amount of time, technique, or labor, so we cover how to look at the condition of the loc, determine what can realistically be repaired, explain the service to the client, and price the work appropriately.
