At Belavish Loc Studio, we want every client to feel prepared, informed, and confident before booking. Below are answers to our most common questions about appointments, products, classes, and general studio policies.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We currently do not accept walk-ins. All appointments must be booked in advance through our online booking system.
Do I need to complete an intake form?
Yes,our intake forms help us better understand your hair, loc history, and service needs before you arrive. This allows us to prepare properly and make sure the appointment you booked is the right fit.
What if I am not sure which service to book?
If you are unsure, we recommend booking a consultation or contacting us before scheduling. This helps prevent booking the wrong service, which may affect timing, pricing, or whether the service can be completed that day.
Do I need a consultation?
ALL color services, loc extensions, micro loc installs, wicks, major repairs, reattachments, or any service that requires a custom crochet work require a mandatory consultation.
Consultations are strongly recommended for new clients or clients needing additional help.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Belavish Loc Studio is a cashless studio. We accept debit cards, credit cards, and approved payment plan options when available. We also never collect payment in full before services are rendered.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Afterpay, Klarna, and Affirm may be available for select services. Availability depends on the service amount, and approval through the payment provider.
How far in advance should I book?
Our books open 60 days in advance, and we recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, weddings, birthdays, travel, or any special occasion. Belavish is best suited for clients who want a planned, intentional service experience, last-minute or rushed appointments are not our specialty.
What if I do not see availability?
If you do not see availability, please join the waitlist and continue checking the booking site. Our books open 60 days in advance, so each day a new date becomes available.
Will my appointment be photographed or recorded?
Cameras are present in the studio for safety, training, and content purposes. We may capture portions of services, but client-facing footage will not be captured and posted without permission.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive on time, complete all required forms and deposit payments, and make sure your hair is in a condition that matches the service booked. If you have buildup, thinning, damage, matting, previous work that needs correcting, or are unsure what your hair needs, please contact us before your appointment.
Shop + Product Orders
How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders take 2–4 business days to process before shipping. Once your order ships, delivery time will depend on the carrier and your location. Tracking information will be provided once available.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of our hair and scalp products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges.
What if there is an issue with my order?
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so our team can review and assist you.
Can I use your products on micro locs?
Yes. Our products can be used on micro locs, but we recommend applying lightly and avoiding overuse. Micro locs usually need lightweight hydration and minimal product layering.
Can I pick up my order in person?
Pickup may be available when selected or confirmed at checkout. Please do not arrive at the studio for pickup unless you have received confirmation that your order is fulfilled.
Loc Extensions + Bulk Hair
Are your loc extensions human hair?
Yes. Our loc extensions are made with human hair and are designed to blend naturally.
How do I know which texture to choose?
The best texture depends on your natural hair, desired look, and loc goals. If you are unsure, we recommend booking a consultation or contacting us before purchasing.
Can loc extensions be colored?
Yes, loc extensions can be colored, but coloring may affect the texture, curl pattern, or overall integrity of the hair. We recommend purchasing the color closest to your desired color inspo.
How long does it take to ship loc extensions?
Loc extensions take 10–12 business days to process before shipping. Once shipped, delivery time will depend on the carrier and your location. Tracking information will be provided once available.
Can I purchase loc extensions for my appointment?
Yes. If you are purchasing loc extensions for an upcoming appointment, please make sure the size, texture, length, and color are correct. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.
Classes
Who are Belavish classes for?
Belavish classes are designed for stylists, aspiring locticians, and individuals who want a stronger understanding of loc care, technique, and professional service standards.
Are the classes beginner-friendly?
Some classes are beginner-friendly, while others require previous experience. Crochet 101, Loc Maintenance is beginner-friendly. Advanced classes, such as loc extensions, wicks, or reconstruction, may require a stronger foundation before enrolling.
Are classes hands-on?
Yes. Our classes are designed to be interactive and hands on so students can practice technique, ask questions, and receive guidance during class.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held in Atlanta, GA unless otherwise stated in the class description.
Are payment plans available for classes?
Payment plan options may be available through Afterpay, Klarna, or Affirm. Approval is handled through the payment provider.
Are class payments refundable?
Class payments are final unless otherwise stated. Because seats, supplies, and class materials are prepared in advance, please review all details before booking.
Will I be ready to offer services after one class?
Our classes are designed to teach proper technique and build confidence, but mastery comes with continued practice. Students are encouraged to keep practicing after class before offering advanced services professionally.
