Current Opportunities

Loctician

The stylist who can make clients admire every angle, text the group chat, and still leave with healthy hair. This role is for someone with real skill, good energy, and the humility to keep growing inside a salon that takes the craft seriously.

The Role:

Perform loc maintenance, styling, crochet services, and related salon services with clean, consistent results that reflect Belavish standards
Educate clients on healthy loc care, maintenance routines, and products that support their hair goals
Confidently recommend and sell Belavish products based on each client’s needs
Learn and follow salon systems, service protocols, timing expectations, and checkout procedures
Manage appointments, client checkout, and rebooking recommendations
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional station throughout the day
Support the overall flow, presentation, and energy of the salon

The Standard

Experience with loc maintenance, retwists, and styling
Licensed cosmetologist, current cosmetology student, or willing to obtain licensure
Able to move in a busy salon environment without letting quality slip
Portfolio, professional social media page, or examples of your hair services required
Confident in your skill, but still humble enough to learn
Boss energy welcome, as long as the skill, attitude, and accountability come with it
Serious about growing with a team.

Loc/Salon Assistant

For the future stylist, or “I’m good, but I’m still building my confidence and clientele” stylist who knows how important a good shampoo, clean prep, and smooth salon flow can set the whole appointment. This role is for someone eager to learn, quick on their feet, and ready to build a strong foundation inside a studio.

The Role:

Shampoo, prep, and assist with loc maintenance, styling, crochet services, and related salon services
Support stylists with client setup, service flow, product needs, sanitation, and salon resets
Perform beginner-level loc maintenance, retwists, and basic styling under supervision
Learn Belavish systems, service protocols, timing expectations, and client care standards
Assist with product organization, client education, and Belavish product recommendations
Build technical skill, communication, confidence, and salon awareness through hands-on training

The Standard

Basic shampoo skills required
Exposure to loc maintenance, retwists, or styling preferred
Current cosmetology student, recent graduate, early-career stylist
Able to move in a busy salon environment with urgency, awareness, and professionalism
Portfolio, social media page, or examples of any hair services accepted, including student services
Takes ownership of training, asks questions, and moves with urgency toward completing the foundation needed to grow
Proactive, reliable, and committed to progressing into a stylist role over time
