Loc Styling 101: Simple Styling

Loc Styling 101 focuses on creating simple, polished styles that can realistically be incorporated into a salon service menu.

Rather than jumping directly into complicated updos, this class teaches the fundamentals that make any loc style look better: placement, balance, tension, sectioning, durability, and finish.

Students will learn how to build styles intentionally instead of simply copying a finished look. The goal is to understand why a style works, how to adjust it for different clients, and how to create something that looks finished without putting unnecessary stress on the hair or scalp.
